OK, so granted Matt’s a bit of a freak, but that's one of the reasons we love him... That and he's an amazing piercer... Like, super amazing... Anyhow, Matt was trained by the infamous Elwood of Elwood's Body Mod, who was trained by and named spiritual protégé of Fakir Musafar, one of the men who opened the very first body piercing studio in North America back in the 1970's, and who maintains North America's only accredited piercing school.

This means that the longest experience base and best information has siphoned down to help shape Matt into the awesome modification artist he has become. With the highest standards in health and safety, and the most up-to-date procedures and piercing technology, he has been working full-time at I-Kandy since 2005 where he can perform piercing, branding, scalpel scarification, shamanic energy work or temp/play piercing at your every whim and desire.

In the past, Matt has worked in many fields including food service slavery retail-slavery and a kinda neat job where he got to arrest people for the VPD, but found his true calling in body-modification. Always seeking to expand his knowledge base, Matt will be branching out into offering suspensions and surgical mods in the near future... (Don't know what these are? just ask him!) In his downtime, you can usually find him leather-working, sculpting, sword fighting, or studying at UBC, where he will one day finally finish his philosophy degree... One day... Oh, and he's a pirate. Just so you know.
